Modern slavery statement

Financial year 2025/26 · Published 8 July 2026

This is a voluntary statement — Affect is below the £36m turnover threshold at which a statement is legally required under the Modern Slavery Act 2015, but publishes this in support of transparency and to assist clients' own supply-chain due diligence.

Our business

Affect Media Ltd is a bespoke software development agency based in Greater Manchester, providing software design, development, and support services to UK clients. Our team consists of directly engaged staff and contractors, all working in professional roles in the UK and Europe.

Our position

We do not tolerate modern slavery, forced labour, or human trafficking in any form, in our business or our supply chain.

Our supply chain

As a professional services business, our supply chain is short and low-risk. It consists primarily of cloud infrastructure and software providers (such as hosting, communications, and development tooling — predominantly large, publicly accountable technology companies with their own published modern slavery statements), professional services (accounting, legal), and office-related suppliers.
